Learn and make money from blogging

Hi,

I have many friends asked me about how to blog recently. And Blogging is very popular in Malaysia now. I also think that Malaysian should know and learn how to blog. (It is not that difficult actually! Don't be afraid of blogging !)

There are several products that you can use to blog. ie Google Blogger, WordPress, LiveJournal, etc.

I would like to recommend you to use Blogger, because it is Google's product. As we know, Google is one of the top internet company in the world. So, it's products are reliable.

To create a blog is easy. Before you start to create your blog, a couple of things we must consider.

1. The name of your blog. I would like to suggest to use a short and meaningful name, if you can obtain it.

2. What do you intent to write in your blog? You may think in this way, why people want to read your blog, do you provide anything that your readers' needs. (Unless your intention is just want to have your own blog, which you do not care whether your readers like it or not. You just want to write anything you like.)

Once you have created your blog, the next stage is to learn how to drive traffics to your blog.

Below are a few ways to drive traffics to your blog:
1. When you send or forward any interesting email to your friends, you may add your blog link into it.
2. You may visit to any forums or discussion groups, and promote your blog there.

Actually there are countless of ways to promote your blog. To avoid to make you confuse, I have just listed two here. There are some other ways like join social networking websites, like FaceBook, Friendster, Flickr, etc, and so on.
We may talk more about it later.

After you have posted quit a lot of contents into your blog, and you have promoted it to others, assume that you may have enough traffics visit to your blog.

Now, it is the time to go to next stage, adding advertisement to your blog. This is one of the ways to make money from your blog.
There are many blog advertising community, they may provide you advertisements and place in your blog. Eg Google Adsense, Nuffnang Malaysia, etc. There are more actually. And as I said earlier, I may suggest you to use Google Adsense, because it is reliable.
